With all thy mind (Mark 12:30)

It is clear that in this passage Christ Jesus is quoting from the Septuagint, or pre-Christian Greek Version of the Old Testament (Deut. 6:5), for the words which would correspond to the phrase in question do not occur in the Hebrew text as we now have it. The Greek dianoia (mind) can also he translated "understanding."

Discreetly (Mark 12:34)
