"The peace of God"
"True, satisfying peace is not gained by complacency or by ceasing to be active"
In early childhood I attended a school where the day began and ended with prayers. The benediction at the close of each day, from the fourth chapter of Philippians, was, "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." This blessing with its promise endeared itself to me and brought a sense of wonder about what this peace could be.
