"Divine Love always has met...
"Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." I have always loved these words of Mrs. Eddy on page 494 of Science and Health and have proved many times that their promise is true.
During a time of great mental stress, I went to talk to a Christian Science practitioner. For some months I visited her often. In the course of these visits much wrong thinking of mine was uncovered, and I became aware of a great love for God and of a longing to serve Him and to go forward in my study of Science.
When I felt that I could mentally stand on my own feet again, I asked the practitioner how much I owed her. She very generously said that I might pay whatever I could manage. I was grateful, because circumstances were rather difficult financially; so I sent her what I could and prayed earnestly that I might be able to prove my gratitude to God and to her.
