It is with a heart singing with gratitude that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science. Because I had the blessing of being enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School at the age of six years and of later rearing three children through reliance on God alone, it is difficult to find words adequate to express the gratitude I feel.

During my youth I had many and varied healings, including one of recurring severe headaches which affected my eyesight and seriously hindered my ability to carry on my school activities. Through my prayerful work and that of my mother the condition was completely healed. During my school experience there were many instances in which I was able to prove the truth that man expresses the intelligence of God, divine Mind. At an early age it was necessary for me to obtain employment, and I applied Christian Science to every phase of my work, including questions of promotion, salary, and human relationships.

The births of our three children took place harmoniously with the help of Christian Science. These young people are now members of The Mother Church, and the two who are at college are active members of Christian Science organizations.
