There is much for which I am...
There is much for which I am grateful, and the greatest blessing is Christian Science. I had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School from early childhood, and the divine guidance and protection which our family has enjoyed have been priceless.
Throughout my school days, when I relied completely on my understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him, my needs were always met. When I married, my husband was not a Christian Scientist, but he attended church with me and consented to Christian Science care for me at the births of our three daughters. To comply with state laws, a doctor was in attendance; but I remained at home with a Christian Science nurse, and all three births were beautifully harmonious. The practitioner who worked with me during these times, and for ten years after whenever her help was needed, never saw the children because she lived at a distance from us, but our needs were always quickly met through her prayers.
I am happy to say that my husband has since joined both The Mother Church and a branch church.
