A green bay tree (Ps. 37:35)

There is some uncertainty about the wording of the original Hebrew text at this point, but the early Septuagint (Greek) translation, prepared before the Christian era began, took the sense to be "a cedar of Lebanon." This is accepted by various modern commentators and translators.
