WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST
[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on March 11, 1962.]
A green bay tree (Ps. 37:35)
There is some uncertainty about the wording of the original Hebrew text at this point, but the early Septuagint (Greek) translation, prepared before the Christian era began, took the sense to be "a cedar of Lebanon." This is accepted by various modern commentators and translators.
Buckler (Ps. 18:30)
