About two years ago, as I was...
About two years ago, as I was playing at school with a friend, I fell and hurt my arm very badly. When I was in class the teacher saw that my face was white; she asked me what was wrong. I told her, and a friend then took me home.
My mother read "the scientific statement of being" on page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and we both thought about it carefully. It tells us that "Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness." My mother telephoned my father and told him what had happened. My father helped us to realize that there are no accidents in God's spiritual kingdom, because it is made by Him and controlled by Him, divine Principle. That afternoon the pain had gone, and that night I slept with my arm on a pillow, just to make it comfortable. During the night I knew that "in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth'" (Gen. 1:1).
Three days later I was back at school. I was quite happy and contented.
