Recently I have felt so comforted and encouraged by the Bible Lessons, found in the Christian Science Quarterly, that I have been prompted to submit a testimony bearing witness to the efficacy of this Science.

Some years ago, after arriving in a new country to take up a positions, I was in need of accommodation. My only acquaintance there helped me to find a room, but this was only a temporary measure. I prayed earnestly to know that God, our Father-Mother, provides for all His children.

After a Wednesday evening testimony meeting in a branch church, a member who recognized me as a stranger stopped to chat. Perceiving my need, she recommended that I study these words of Christ Jesus: "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you" (John 14:1, 2).
