"As this little child"

"We can never begin too early to plant the seed of Truth in the good ground of the pure youthful consciousness"

Christ Jesus once called a little child to him and said (Matt. 18:4), "Whosoever ... shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Such is the purity of the child thought that it enables a child to accept without question the basic truth of the all-ness of God, good, as taught in Christian Science. This was demonstrated in a child's reply to her mother's repeated caution to be careful, "This is God's day, and I'm God's child."
