Love Heals Disease
Love is God, Principle, Soul. Love's activity is the reflection of its qualities, revealing itself to be the source of all, the substance of all, and the consciousness of all, showing itself always harmonious, immeasurably good, beautifully complete. Man is Love's reflection.
But in the human person we seem to be, we find the qualities of Love's reflection supposedly intermingled with images of the carnal or mortal mind, namely matter. Christian Science shows that this so-called mind as well as matter is unreal.
On page 468 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy writes: "Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is the unreal and temporal. Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual." As we understand and apply this truth, we find that what seemed to be a mixture—what seemed to be sick, what seemed to be capable of dying—was never what it seemed to be. In reality there never were any contrary elements to be mixed. Love has no opposites, and Love's reflection was never burdened, imposed upon, distorted, or influenced by anything outside of Love.
