How grateful I am for the blessings...
How grateful I am for the blessings I have received from Christian Science! My family became interested in this religion when a friend gave my mother, who was ill, a copy of the Sentinel. A neighbor who was a Christian Scientist also expressed much kindness. Mother had help from a practitioner and was healed.
I then began to attend a Christian Science Sunday School, being about eight at the time, and I continued to attend until I was twenty years old. When I started going to Sunday School I wore glasses because of astigmatism. I learned there the First Commandment (Ex. 20:3), "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
