I have enjoyed the blessings of Christian Science for many years and wish to express my gratitude for the many healings I have had. The first was that of an extreme case of sinus congestion. I had suffered much pain over quite a period of time and had been to doctors who tried unsuccessfully to help and cure me. I had not slept for many nights because of the pain; and finally, in desperation, I asked my husband if he objected to my investigating Christian Science. He gave his consent, saying that I could try it because it certainly could not hurt me.

The next day, at the invitation of a friend, I attended a Wednesday evening testimony meeting in a branch church, and while there I heard about Christian Science practitioners. I got in touch with one the following day. She asked me to come to see her, and during my visit to her she told me many wonderful truths of God. I asked her to work for me, and she consented to do so. That night I slept for the first time in many weeks. The pain began to lessen immediately, and in three days it was gone and has never returned. However, of more importance to me than physical healing has been the overcoming, in some degree, of unlovely traits of character, such as envy, hatred, resentment, and so on.
