Rodney Is Grateful for the Truth
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Rodney loves to attend the Christian Science Sunday School. It makes him happy to hear of God and to learn that He loves His children and tenderly cares for them.
During the week his mother reads to him the weekly Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly. Then they talk about it to see how he can use what he learns from it in his schoolwork and when he is out playing. He also likes to hear the stories written for children in the Christian Science Sentinel and to see how other children prove the truth when error seems to talk to them.
One day he came running home from school so fast he fairly flew into the house. He said he had a good reason for being grateful for the truth. The other children in his class had to have some shots which they were told would protect them from a certain disease. But he was excused because he was a Christian Scientist.
