I have been a student of Christian Science for over twenty-five years, and during this time I have been faced with many difficult problems of health, business relationships, supply, and so on, and I have always found Christian Science a wonderful help in solving these problems. I should like to express my gratitude and share an experience I had in the hope that it may be of help to others.

Many years ago I was suddenly attacked by a very painful knee condition. When I retired for the night the pain was so intense that I could barely stand the touch of a bed sheet. Working this problem out, as we are taught in Christian Science, I found myself dwelling on "the scientific statement of being" on page 468 of Science and Health by our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, which includes this statement: "Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual."
