I was introduced to Christian Science many years ago when I witnessed the healing of my husband's mother through its application. After having been a semi-invalid, she became a strong and active person. My husband immediately purchased a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I read it and thought it a wonderful book, but being a busy young mother, I put it aside. However, I never forgot some of the truths it contained. It was not until the Second World War, when I became disturbed at the thought of my youngest son's entering the Navy, that I turned wholeheartedly to Christian Science for help and was freed from anxiety.

I have had many proofs of God's care since then. They include healings of pneumonia, gall bladder trouble, and a sinus condition. But now I wish to tell of a healing I experienced more recently. I was visiting a brother and his wife, who live about one hundred and fifty miles from my home.

One morning shortly after I arrived, I fell and became unconscious. They called an ambulance and took me to the nearest hospital. I was there about twelve days, but I did not regain consciousness during that time. I am sure that the physician was doing whatever he thought would be beneficial at all times and that the nurses were kind and attentive.
