SPEAKER: How good it feels after being in a long, dark train tunnel to come out into the warm bright sunshine! In a way that describes the transformation in our guest's life. For years he'd been living in the darkness of disillusionment, unhappiness, physical disability. But he found the way out of all this.

Here's Paul Gorian, of San Bernardino, California, to tell you about it himself.

MR. GORIAN: My life seemed to be full of frustration. I wasn't happy; I didn't have a sense of peace. I didn't love God or man as I should. All my life I'd wanted to know God better, but I'd never found an explanation that satisfied me. So I had no use for religion, not even the Bible.
