In his otherwise most interesting and informative remarks on the ministry of healing, [a clergyman] unwittingly gives a somewhat false impression of the Christian Science approach to pain and suffering.

Unless a little explanation is provided, it is an oversimplification to aver that Christian Scientists, in the face of the material evidence, merely maintain that suffering and pain are unreal and illusory.
