No Seasons in God's Business
"All that is necessary if one is to be happily busy is to keep his own lamp trimmed and burning"
In her Message to The Mother Church for 1900, Mrs. Eddy writes, "The song of Christian Science is, 'Work—work—work—watch and pray'" (p. 2). I have always been grateful that Mrs. Eddy associates work in Christian Science with song. As the result of singing this song, we should be able to say at the end of each day: "Father, I have served Thee today to the best of my understanding. This has been a day of reflecting Life, of joyous accomplishment, of service to You and to my fellow men."
