At one time an infection developed in my left leg. The trouble worsened during succeeding weeks until I was no longer able to operate my car. Finally, when I was unable to walk, I was taken to a Christian Science nursing home to be cared for while I received treatment through prayer from a practitioner. Immediately upon entering the home, I became aware of the loving atmosphere and soon felt very grateful for the efficient care and attention given by the nurses.

The practitioner patiently reminded me of the great healing truths to be found in the Bible and throughout the works of Mrs. Eddy. From these two sources of spiritual healing, he gave me many helpful references which I was able to study. Almost at once the infection began to abate, and after being for some weeks without normal rest, I was able to get some sleep.

The improvement continued until I was able to get around under my own power again. With a feeling of great gratitude for Christian Science, I was healed and was able to resume my work, which involves driving long distances. During the period of the illness I had been able with the aid of my wife to conduct my business to a certain extent.
