By
showing the individual his relationship to God as a divine idea, Christian Science supplies the answer to the world-wide problem of loneliness, often coupled with uselessness and old age.
"The
physical healing of Christian Science results now, as in Jesus' time, from the operation of divine Principle, before which sin and disease lose their reality in human consciousness and disappear as naturally and as necessarily as darkness gives place to light and sin to reformation.
The
major difficulties of men arise today mainly from their sense of incompleteness, from their belief that they need something which they do not already possess, such as money, material possessions, right companionship, proper and satisfying work, fulfillment in artistic endeavors, health, or freedom from fear.
Those
who turn to Christian Science merely to gain freedom from their troubles may tend to avoid its study when they have mastered a discordant situation.
A three-day meeting to consider and further the mission of Christian Science organizations at colleges and universities, formed in accordance with Article XXIII, Section 8, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, will be held in Boston on August 31, September 1 and 2, 1961.
As there is a continuing demand for Christian Science nurses, applications for admission to the Nurses Training Course given at Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatoriums are welcomed from Christian Scientists who desire a career in nursing.
SPEAKER: Probably there's nothing more heartwarming to see or more commendable than the care, thought, and attention that go into making a child's life the happiest, the most wholesome, and the most progressive that can be achieved.
The need for Christian Science Representatives in the Armed Services became apparent during World War II, because the military situation was a fluid, fast-moving one in which troops were often stationed in places where there were no branches of The Mother Church and where it was difficult or impossible to send Christian Science Ministers for the Armed Services.

My
early days were spent in a family atmosphere where God and the Bible were loved and honored, because my father was a minister in an orthodox church.
One
often hears the lament, "If only I could live my life over again!" It is with boundless gratitude that I can testify that Christian Science has given me the opportunity to do so by opening the door to the one perfect way of Life.
Many
times I have voiced my gratitude for Christian Science at Wednesday evening testimony meetings, but I have not submitted a written expression of it to the periodicals.
