The Value of Tests

"Christ Jesus knew the grief and glory, trial and triumph,
of tests common to all"

On entering the schoolroom one morning, a teacher announced to her pupils, "We are going to have a test today," whereupon all the children clapped their hands with joy. If we are suddenly faced with a problem to solve in Christian Science, let us, like the children, rejoice and be glad that we are given an opportunity to test what we have learned of God and of His reflection, man.
