Patient Waiting
"Through patient waiting, the student actively
cultivates confidence in God"
The words "patient waiting" indicate a state of calm expectation, in which there is no room for impatience, anxiety, or frustration. In Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy says (p. 454): "Wait patiently for divine Love to move upon the waters of mortal mind, and form the perfect concept. Patience must 'have her perfect work.'"
