SPEAKER: What hope and joy the people of Galilee must have felt as Christ Jesus began his ministry among them! Healing after healing was taking place before their very eyes! A man in the synagogue was healed of an unclean spirit; Simon Peter's mother-in-law was instantaneously healed of a fever; and, according to Luke's Gospel, "When the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them."

The same hope and joy come to us today when we realize that the life-giving power of God, which the Master demonstrated centuries ago, is always available. Our guest can testify from her own experience. I'd like Mrs. Molly Savel, of Broad-stairs, Kent, England, to tell you about it.

MRS. SAVEL:I'd always been very well, very strong, and very active. I loved to play tennis. Then, quite suddenly about three years after my marriage, I became very ill. All my strength seemed to go. I couldn't cope with anything, work or play, and I got worse.
