More than forty years ago my mother was healed of gangrene, which had set in in one leg, after receiving one treatment by prayer from a Christian Science practitioner. The doctor had said that he could do nothing to save the leg and that only amputation could save my mother's life. A short time later, by the prayerful work of the same practitioner, my mother was healed very quickly of erysipelas.

Since that time Christian Science has been my only physician, and many and varied have been the healings I have had through the help of practitioners and sometimes through my own understanding of its wonderful truths gained over the years.
