With a deep hope that these...
With a deep hope that these words will be uplifting and will give courage and faith to someone in time of need, I should like to relate the following experience.
My wife and two-year-old daughter had just left the house for church one Sunday morning when I heard a scream. I went out and saw my wife carrying our daughter. The car was stopped by some trees halfway down the hill on which our house stands. My wife had been backing up, the brakes had failed, and her first thought had been to get the little girl out of the car. She pulled her out as the car was moving but somehow slipped, and the child was thrown under the wheels, which passed over her head and chest.
I was extremely afraid, because it looked as though our daughter was about to pass on. The evidence was so bad that my wife and I wondered if she should be taken to a hospital. However, upon discussing this we both remembered that we had always had complete faith in God. We felt later that this decision to rely on Truth alone was the turning point in the healing.
