RADIO PROGRAM No. 358 - How Prayer Healed a Serious Eye Condition

SPEAKER: Our guest is a woman who spent long hours in a darkened room in her early years because of a serious condition of the eyes. Finally she gained a new understanding of God, and this not only lilted the intense fear that had weighed upon her, but also brought permanent healing of the trouble. I'd like to introduce Mrs. Helen Plosilla, of Downers Grove, Illinois.

Please tell us about it now, Mrs. Plosilla.

MRS. PLOSILLA: I had ulcers, one-after another, on my eyes. During these attacks I had to stay in a dark room, and when I went out I wore very dark glasses. But even then it wasn't comfortable to be out of doors, even after the sun went down. This kept me out of school for long periods at a time, and frequently I had to go to an out-of-town specialist for treatment. It was a very painful condition, and I dreaded the times when these ulcers appeared.
