For twenty-three years I have enjoyed the many blessings of Christian Science. And my heart overflows with gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for her faithful service to God when she gave to the world her book Science and Health and founded the Christian Science movement.

Membership in The Mother Church and also in a Christian Science Society and class instruction have been treasured way-marks. While I was having class instruction it was my privilege to stay at the Christian Science Benevolent Association at Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and to witness firsthand a little of the splendid healing work accomplished there.

I also have experienced the healing power of Christian Science when disease has yielded to the understanding that God is the only presence, power, activity, and intelligence. I have given birth to two children without the use of opiates or medicine of any kind. The births were very harmonious. I have also been healed quickly of influenza, headaches, toothaches, and biliousness.
