In 1918 I was searching for a way to be healed of heart trouble. Physicians had told my sister that they could not help me and that I would not live more than a year.
Three of my sisters were beginning the study of Christian Science. After witnessing the many beautiful healings they had received, I decided to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I also began to study the Bible Lessons, found in the Christian Science Quarterly. I stopped taking medicine and relied completely on God for my deliverance. I was conscious of immediate and steady progress, and the healing was accomplished.
A few years later I was required to have a physical examination to obtain an insurance policy. The doctor made no mention of a heart condition, and the policy was granted. This proved that my healing was complete.
