A simple but dramatic [experience] occurred with our prayer group.

A mother asked prayer for her little son, saying he had had rheumatic fever and the doctor had prescribed six months in bed, a difficult plan to follow with a hitherto active boy. The mother ended: "Why did God send this to me? I have always gone to church, and I teach a Sunday School class."
