For almost thirty years Christian Science has been our only physician. My wife and I turned to this Science at a time of trouble after the passing on of our first child at birth. After this experience we were blessed with three more sons. With the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner, the birth of each one was harmonious. Our three boys have had the privilege of attending Sunday School from the age of three until they were twenty. They were able to attend school, from the elementary grades through college, without loss of any time because of illness.

The understanding of Christian Science which I have gained through the years has enabled me to demonstrate the truths taught in Science and Health. Our experience with the boys proved the truth of Mrs. Eddy's statement (p. 369), "The prophylactic and therapeutic (that is, the preventive and curative) arts belong emphatically to Christian Science, as would be readily seen, if psychology, or the Science of Spirit, God, was understood."

Several months ago I suddenly discovered a large lump on my right elbow. It caused no discomfort, but I did prayerful work as we are taught in Christian Science, knowing that no error of any kind could attach itself to an idea of God, which I knew myself actually to be.
