In God's Allness There Is No Discord
To the inspired thought of godly men it was early revealed that there is a supreme power or force capable of guiding, saving, healing. To the receptive Abram, the Lord said (Gen. 17:1), "I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect." Abram obeyed, and, as a result, his name was changed to Abraham, and his seed became a great nation.
The allness of God was glimpsed by ancient prophets and apostles of Truth and in a large measure demonstrated by them. But it remained for Christian Science to present to humanity the full scientific method of demonstrating God's might and to lead the present age in proving His ever-presence as Truth, Life, and Love.
Christian Science affirms without reservation that God is All-in-all, that He is the whole of real being, that He is the only power, presence, or substance, that He is alone in real authority and activity, that in reality there is nothing but God, including His infinite and universal creation, that He is the whole, the totality of all reality.
