In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,"...
In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy writes (p. 192), "Whatever holds human thought in line with unselfed love, receives directly the divine power." This was the first truth I learned in Christian Science, and armed with it, I began the study of this Science about thirteen years ago.
We were greatly in need of help at the time. Our supply was limited, and with a growing family it was almost inadequate at times. My husband answered an advertisement in one of the newspapers in a large city nearby.
As soon as he had left for an interview, I began to declare the truth as well as I knew how in Christian Science. I knew that of ourselves we could do nothing and that we must trust God. I realized that God's law is supreme and would prevail.
