Our Abundant Spiritual Heritage
"One cannot lack ... good when he learns that all that is real has its source in God"
A period when large numbers of persons possess the necessities of life and many are even experiencing material abundance is a good time to pause and consider the Psalmist's verse of thanksgiving (Ps. 16:6), "The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage." Though the Psalmist doubtless had most of the material possessions that were considered essential in his time, he was writing, not of the things he possessed, but of his spiritual heritage as a son of God.
