RADIO PROGRAM No. 377 - Gaining a Victory over Defeatism
SPEAKER: Sometimes people are tempted to believe they can do little but accept whatever life holds for them, that they're victims of circumstances. As a young girl our guest felt her life was futile, blighted by conditions beyond her control. But Mrs. Mary June Pryor, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, found the way out.
When did all this begin, Mrs. Pryor?
MRS. PRYOR: When I was in my teens. I found myself in a situation I couldn't cope with. I thought I was a victim of unjust circumstances. I was in a state of tumult, futility, and despair.
