"Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need," writes Mrs. Eddy on page 494 of Science and Health. Looking back over many years, I am deeply grateful to divine Love, God, for supplying my every need and for His goodness and guidance.

From childhood I had suffered from constipation, but when I became interested in Christian Science, medicines and pills were discarded. The healing of this condition was slow, but with the help of a practitioner it came and has been permanent. Burns and colds have also been healed.

After I left school, God's guidance led me into a place of business in which I progressed and stayed until the age of retirement. A few months before I was due to retire, I asked God to direct me. My desire was to serve Him and the Christian Science movement in some way. My prayers were answered, for I was led to apply for a position in which my desire could be fulfilled. My application was accepted, but the post could not be held open for me until the date of my retirement.
