Over a period of many years I have been rewarded greatly by my study and application of the truths learned in Christian Science, but an outstanding healing which took place about two years ago has prompted me to write this testimony.

A cyst that developed to alarming proportions in the space of a few days caused me extreme pain. I was unable to sleep, food nauseated me, and it was necessary for me to have assistance in walking from one room to another. This condition persisted for a period of eight days.

Because of my background in Christian Science, the many proofs I had had of its healing efficacy, and because I knew it to be the truth that Jesus taught, I was certain that I did not want to resort to any material methods to relieve the pain. That could only mean that I would have to retrace my steps in Christian Science in order to see the unreality of matter.
