I was brought up in what appeared to be in my home a fear-filled atmosphere, and I found myself continually praying to God for help and asking Him to take me to Him so that I could find peace. Then my sister, who had been healed of a long illness, introduced me to Christian Science. At first I thought I did not need Science; but, little by little, truths that she voiced to me awakened my thought to its study and to the need of attendance at services in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist.

Now that I am a student of Christian Science, I realize that God had really answered my call and had showed me the way of Life through Science. I awakened to a sense of freedom and joy. I was elated to learn that I had God-given dominion to reject anything unlike good. False fears and impressions have fallen away and have gradually been replaced by a wonderful sense of serenity and confidence.

Now all in our family have had wonderful healings through the understanding of Science and through prayerful help effectively given by practitioners. Mumps, colds, severe sunburn, a broken nose, and appendicitis have all been healed when the allness of God's presence and power and the utter unreality of evil were realized.
