The Measure of the Real Man
What must we do to measure up to the perfection of the man of God's creating? And what is the measuring stick which we should use to determine whether we are demonstrating perfection?
Corporeality does not present the reality of man. It is but the object of thought misinstructed as to the reality of things. The proper view of God and man, presented in Christian Science, corrects human misconceptions and in that way destroys discord.
Man is exclusively spiritual. This is the only logical conclusion to be reached by those who accept at full value the record of creation set forth in the initial chapter of Genesis. God, Spirit, made man, and God could not include in man that which is inconsistent with Spirit's perfection. The Bible declares (Gen. 1:31), "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Then, as if to set the seal on the assertion, we are told (Gen. 2:1), "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them." Nothing else could be made except that which is made, and it is totally good.
