My daughter, who is not a Christian Scientist, went to a doctor with her child who was not walking correctly. She was advised to put wedges on the child's shoes. After obtaining my daughter's permission, I turned to a Christian Science practitioner for help. She drew my attention to this verse from Isaiah (40:4): "Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain."
By my keeping these angel thoughts in consciousness steadily, there was an immediate healing. The child has now attended the Christian Science Sunday School for several years and is a comfort to others as well as to us.
One Wednesday evening I felt an internal hemorrhage begin. I called a Christian Science practitioner on the telephone. She told me to read Hymn No. 148 in the Christian Science Hymnal. It begins with these words:
