For the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School and for the guidance of my aunt, who was my guardian, I give special thanks. No doubt this clear teaching and guidance helped greatly to keep me faithful to Christian Science through the testing times to follow.
Although there was no doubt in my mind that Christian Science was the only religion for me, it was some years before I realized the necessity of studying each day the Lesson-Sermons, found in the Quarterly.
After I married I continued working in the business world; so with the additional duties of caring for a home, I had less time for study. I did not heed the warning that came so forcibly to my consciousness for several weeks, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" (Matt. 6:33).
