WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST

[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on October 9, 1960.]

Quarters ... saints (Acts. 9:32)

The word "quarters" is not directly represented in the Greek, being added by the translators to complete their concept of the sense. Weymouth suggests, "Peter, as he went to town after town. ..." A term often used to identity active members of the early Christian church was "saints" (literally holy ones).
