SPEAKER: Many people today wonder what is really required of them when they pray. Maybe you've prayed and then asked yourself these questions: Why is it some prayers are effective and some do not seem to be? What is the right way to pray?

We believe that the healing of Mrs. Frances Farran, of Vancouver, Washington, can throw a helpful light on these questions. She's our guest today.

MRS. FARRAN: Twenty or more years ago I was having periods of great despondency. I even contemplated suicide. I'd been working as a secretary for many years. I always got along fine; but the more I did, the more seemed to be expected of me. Then we moved to different places around the country, and this was always quite an adjustment for me.
