Humanity often seems burdened with disquieting experiences. The carnal mind keeps up a steady stream of suggestions that one is a victim of evil. It argues to an employer that he is a victim of dishonesty, disloyalty, faulty judgment; to an employee that he is the victim of overwork, underpay, lack of appreciation of his best efforts; to another individual that he is the victim of a relative's or a neighbor's inconsiderateness, hate, or domination; to all mankind that there are circumstances beyond their control which result in disease, limitation, injustice, delinquency, and so on.
