Christian Science, being preventive...

Christian Science , being preventive as well as curative, has been a wonderful protection to me during adolescence, in the business world, and now in having the privilege of being a home-maker and helping to guide our two young children in the pathway of Science.

I am deeply grateful to have had a mother who taught me to love God, good, and to always strive to be obedient to good. Grief and separation from this loved one during my teens were beautifully overcome with the help of a Christian Science practitioner. A loving family, who were also students of Christian Science, welcomed me into their home.

This experience caused me to see more clearly that God is our real Father and Mother. When suggestions of doubt and fear for my future would come, I was usually quick to replace them with the truths I had learned in Christian Science. A poem entitled "Mind's Allness" which appeared in the Sentinel of May 31, 1952, helped me greatly and has since stayed with me.
