My first healing in Christian Science...

My first healing in Christian Science was that of an annoying case of eczema, which was on my hands and from which I had suffered for some time. I had tried many material remedies, including irradiation, without success.

I was very much discouraged and depressed, but just then my sister came to visit me, and seeing me in this condition, she called my attention to Christian Science. Although I had never heard of this religion, I was at once willing to go to see a practitioner. From that day on, a great change began to take place in my thinking. From the very beginning, I found the practitioner's explanations logical, and I became absorbed at once in the Christian Science literature she gave me to read.

Although the complete healing did not take place for a few months, I rejoiced in all that I did understand of the wonderful teachings of Christian Science. Then one day, as I was reading the account in the eighth chapter of Matthew of the healing of the leper, I realized that the same healing power which operated in Jesus' time is here today. All fear immediately left me.
