Fearless fidelity is ... the very fiber of the Christian life for Christ calls to non-conformity with the world. "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world" [I John 2:15]. And the Apostle Paul admonished, "Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
