Mary Baker Eddy , the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, tells us in her work "Retrospection and Introspection" (p. 70), "Each individual must fill his own niche in time and eternity."
No person can take the place of anyone else in our Father's vineyard. Therefore we need not feel a sense of competition in any human endeavor. Our need is always to improve our own work that it may be worthy of God's blessing. One of the hymns in the Christian Science Hymnal sets forth the divine order of God's creation (No. 236),
