NO LITTLE FOXES

Earnest students of Christian Science soon learn in the very earliest periods of their study that a knowledge of God as a dear Father-Mother can heal their difficulties, even the minor ones. The importance of destroying the little discords in human experience is indicated thus in the Song of Solomon (2:15): "Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes."

When the writer became a student of Christian Science, she quickly discovered that her religion not only could heal serious diseases, the results of accidents, grief, and so on, but could help her to go through a day of various incidents with calm, poise, and blessing.

Many times in our daily experience, although we do not have problems of a serious nature to solve, we may be disturbed by the condition of the weather, failure to keep an appointment, the unexpected size of a bill that has become due, the so-called unkindness of a friend, and so on. How does Christian Science help us in these smaller difficulties which should not go unresolved since they indicate a lack of understanding of God's presence and love?
