It is with a heart filled with gratitude that I humbly offer this testimony. Several years ago I accompanied a member of the family, who is not a student of Christian Science, to one of the national parks. At that time I was suffering from varicose veins, but I said nothing about it.

Our hikes made me very uncomfortable, but I clung to the truth, knowing that God is All. On the third day the pain disappeared, and I have been free from varicose veins ever since.

Years ago, when I was a modiste, I was asked to sew for two days in the home of the daughter of a prominent minister. I hesitated about going, for I was manifesting a severe cold. However, I knew that nothing could prevent me from doing my work aright if I relied on God.
