It is a pleasant duty for me to relate here the wonderful healing I have been privileged to experience in Christian Science. Seven years ago I was suddenly afflicted with serious eye trouble. I was having severe hemorrhages of the eye and on occasions was almost blind.

After I had been in the hospital three weeks, the doctor said I was suffering from tuberculosis of the eye, and he prescribed a lengthy cure in a sanatorium. Then followed a difficult year with long periods of a rest cure, but unfortunately with no satisfactory result. Finally I expressed the desire to return home. My case seemed hopeless, the more so because the hemorrhages continued.

During this difficult period my attention was called to Christian Science. I immediately got in touch with a practitioner and at the same time began to study the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Medical treatment was discontinued, and the practitioner took up my case with much love and consecration.
